Having spent over 20 years working with outdoor and lifestyle brands from the polished world of Paul Smith to the rugged side of The North Face - imagine a multi striped climbing zebra.. that's James. These days, he also runs a furniture design business making good-looking, hard-working kit for shops, hotels and the odd beer garden. So he gets what it’s like juggling spreadsheets and sawdust — and the many moving parts that come with running or scaling a business.

Having kicked off in the early 00's running an online fashion business, Sam soon swapped spreadsheets for a camera, diving into the world of branding and design. From creating compelling visuals for brands and agencies to capturing weddings across Europe, he’s always been drawn to brands that dare to break the mould and visuals that grab attention. These days, Sam runs a photography studio that doubles as the home for Heartbreaker, but when he’s not busy disrupting the norm, you’ll find him hiking in the Peak District or giving Padel a go.
