Introducing Kelp: A Bold New Chapter for Peak Design’s Outdoor Line
A natural green built for adventure - and built for retail momentum
Peak Design has officially introduced Kelp, a rich, earthy green joining the Outdoor Line - and it’s more than just a new colour. It’s a considered evolution, shaped directly by consumer feedback and designed to bring fresh energy into one of the brand’s fastest-growing categories.
Kelp is bold enough to stand out on the shelf, yet grounded enough to sit comfortably in any retail environment. Inspired by natural terrain and outdoor exploration, it feels right at home on trail, in travel, or in everyday carry. Available across the full Outdoor range, it signals confidence in the category - and a commitment to keeping the line sharp, relevant, and commercially strong.
A Focused, Streamlined Colour Strategy
With the launch of Kelp, Black and Eclipse remain core evergreen colourways, while Cloud will be phased out across all Outdoor SKUs. This isn’t just a cosmetic refresh - it’s a strategic move. By tightening the colour offering, Peak Design can focus inventory, improve sell-through, and maintain clarity across the range.
For retailers, this creates opportunity. Cloud SKUs will receive a 10% wholesale adjustment as part of the end-of-life program, offering flexibility to manage inventory and maintain margin ahead of the March 17th retail price adjustment.
Momentum in the Outdoor Category
What this launch reinforces is simple: Peak Design is listening, refining, and building momentum. The Outdoor Line continues to evolve — not through constant reinvention, but through thoughtful adjustments that strengthen the offer.
As the UK market continues to embrace technical lifestyle gear with strong sustainability credentials and design integrity, Kelp arrives at the right moment.
