Peak Design's New Travel Line Is Here - and It's Worth the Wait

Peak Design’s New Travel Line 2026 - Everything You Need to Know

The brand that changed how we carry things is at it again.

Peak Design recently launched its 16th Kickstarter campaign, and if you've been following this brand for any length of time, you'll know that's not a small deal. The original Travel Line Kickstarter raised over $5 million and put Peak Design firmly on the map as one of the most innovative carry brands on the planet. Eight years on, they've gone back to the drawing board - and the result is four new bags that cover pretty much every travel scenario you can think of.

Four Bags. One Very Big Idea.

The new lineup includes the Travel Backpack 2-in-1, Travel Weekender 25L, Travel Backpack 20L, and Travel Crossbody 3L - built with modern travellers in mind, from weekend getaways to extended trips on the road. The headline piece is the Travel Backpack 2-in-1 - a modular system that's as clever as it sounds. A 34L base pack pairs with a 16L zip-off daypack, combining to create a 40L carry-on-compliant bag compatible with Peak Design's Packing Cubes and Camera Cubes. Use them together on travel days, separate them when you arrive. It's the kind of thinking that makes Peak Design products genuinely different from everything else on the shelf.

Something for Every Kind of Traveller.

For those who want something more streamlined, the Travel Backpack 20L is Peak Design's most compact travel backpack yet - sized to qualify as an airline personal item, with room for a camera cube, a 16-inch laptop, a hidden AirTag pocket, and a latch at the bottom for a compact tripod. The Travel Weekender 25L reimagines the classic duffel as a structured carry with dedicated laptop and tablet storage - nothing floppy, nothing wasted. And rounding out the range, the Travel Crossbody 3L draws directly from the Tech Pouch concept, with an origami-inspired interior and a magnetic exterior pocket for one-handed phone access.

Travel Backpack 2-in-1

The One Bag to Rule Them All - The headline piece of the new Travel Line and the one that's turning heads. A 34L base pack zips together with a 16L daypack to create a 40L carry-on-compliant bag - then separates into two independent carries when you land. Full Camera Cube and Packing Cube compatibility, weatherproof recycled materials, hidden AirTag storage, and a stowable hipbelt for the long days. This is the bag for anyone who refuses to check luggage.

Travel Backpack 20L

Small Format. Zero Compromise. Peak Design's most compact travel backpack to date, and arguably the most versatile thing in the range. Slim enough to qualify as an airline personal item, but with enough room for a camera cube, a 16-inch laptop, and the essentials for a spontaneous weekend. External carry straps for the Peak Design Travel Tripod, magnetic strap keepers, and a hidden AirTag pocket. The bag that goes everywhere without making a fuss about it.

Travel Weekender 25L

The Duffel, Reimagined. Not your average weekend bag. The Travel Weekender 25L ditches the floppy gym bag format in favour of a structured carry with a dedicated sleeve that fits both a 16-inch laptop and a 13-inch tablet simultaneously. Two to three days, done properly.

Travel Crossbody 3L

Grab and Go. The smallest in the range and the easiest to love. Derived directly from Peak Design's iconic Tech Pouch, the Crossbody 3L features an origami-inspired interior that expands and contracts depending on what you're carrying, with a magnetic exterior pocket for one-handed phone access. City days, airport runs, and everything in between.

Built Right. From the Inside Out.

All four bags are available in Black, Sage, and Stone, and each is Fair Trade Certified and Climate Label Certified. That's not window dressing - it's Peak Design doing what Peak Design does, building ethics into the product alongside the engineering. Retail availability starts June 2, 2026, and as Heartbreaker's UK retail partner, we'll be working to make sure these land in the right stores at launch. If you're a retailer who wants to be part of that conversation, now is the time to get in touch.

If you’re a retailer interested in stocking Peak Design, we’d love to talk.
